Independent candidate Nicola Ross for Forth ward had this to say

TRIM and FoWP approached all candidates for Forth ward and here is what  Independent candidate Nicola Ross had to say

I would like to introduce myself as an independent candidate for the Forth ward. I have lived in the Granton Waterfront area for nine years.  Over this period the regeneration of the area has stagnated. The housing, jobs and leisure facilities that were promised have failed to be delivered.  If elected as a councillor on the 4th of May, I would ensure that regeneration of the area would remain firmly on the council’s agenda.

I have worked in local government for 10 years (7 years with The City of Edinburgh Council) in the fields of education, social work and neighbourhood planning.  My work has given me an insight into the workings of the council. This experience would be invaluable for an elected councillor.

As an independent councillor, I would prioritise the needs of local people above all else.  Please vote “1” for me as your local independent candidate on the 4th of May
