  • I didn t like the book The main character was always telling some fool that if he pulled his gun he was going straight to hell because he was going to die If that had only happened once it would have been bad enough, but to repeat it over and over was to much Everybody was riding stallions, if you know anything about horses, you know most cowboys rode geldings, or mares And in the book there are several mentions of parking lots for the horses not corals or hitching posts rails I read lots of lov [...]


  • This was a little out of my comfort zone on reading I don t usually read western books But I needed a book that the setting started with Y for one of my reading challenges So here I am giving my report on this book Although the book was good, I didn t really enjoy reading it If you like western books it s a pretty good book It s all about this family of law men set in the late 1800 s They have to transport a prisoner to Yuma Prison They have a hard time getting there, but they do finally get the [...]


  • This is the third time I have typed a review I don t know why the computer doesn t save it This book was a bit disappointing to me I felt like it was either written in a hurry or by a beginner It did presnet the plan of salvation very plainly I learned about the iron wagon which was invented to transport prisoners safely in those days I have another book by the Lacy sthat I will read I am not completely turned off.




  • I am just beginning this third book of this series I ve enjoyed what I ve read so far, and will rate it later.
