  • Sue she has some serious issues with not only commitment, but love as well It didn t help when she found out that her grandmother had been lying to her, her entire life I m not going near her other family She s also insecure and I can t understand her or her reactions at all I didn t like her.Rick he has deep scars from his childhood His mother was an alcoholic, and while she was sober , she always managed to get him back from the foster families he was with At the beginning of the book, he foun [...]

  • This is book one of The Diamond Legacy series The story is complex, not only for this book but setting the story for the next book in the series Much of the story revolves around foster care and adoption issues Of course there is romance thrown in, it is a Harlequin book after all I thought it was a good read and yes there are sex scenes but truthfully the romance takes a back burner when looking at the story overall I would recommend.

  • The family dynamics are a bit confusing at first and it s clear that it s the first in a series so there s a bunch of background and set up at the start, but it improves once you get through the opening.A sweet romance.
