  • I love the characters in this series it is really nice to see the growth of Vic and Emily and Emily s beau Charley is a new character and related to Emily The story revolves around their introduction and getting to know each other Even though they both had rough upbringings their paths went different ways It is interesting to see how they connect in this introduction I am waiting for the next one to see where and how this relationship grows How Charley grows as a person too Vic has grown I love [...]

  • My fifth read from author P.D Workman, although I own several of her books I d never gotten around to reading one until I acquired Auntie Clem s Bakery 3 I wanted to read the first two books in the series before reading it I really don t like to read books out of sequence , now I find myself reading Stirring Up Murder Auntie Clem s Bakery 4 after just finishing the sixth book in the series Extremely well written as are all of P.D Workman s books, the characters well developed I m a cha My fifth [...]

  • This is book 4 in the Auntie Clem s Bakery Series It can be read on its own, but I d recommend reading the books in order, as they are a fun set and each one ties into the next Everything is normal as normal can be in Bald Eagle Falls Erin is busy with the bakery, making gluten free goodies with her friend Vic for her customers and keeping a flirtatious relationship with Terry, the handsome local police officer Then she finds out that she has a half sister and her sister lives a few towns aw Thi [...]

  • I received an ARC from the author I guess I should have realized from the book blurb that this was a continuing story but I guess I expected a stand alone type series than what I got The story, characters, action and suspense were all great I especially love Vic However, there were so many references to things that occurred in the previous books that I found myself confused at times and while this book doesn t end on a cliffhanger, it definitely hints at a continuing saga I think I received an A [...]

  • Erin is one strong, stubborn woman If you want her to do something, just tell her to not do it Having lost her parents when she was only 8, Erin spent her childhood moved from one foster home to another Later, she found out that she had a half sister What lengths would you go to find your sister and to keep her safe Read this story to see how far Erin goes to make sure Charlene or Charley as she likes to be called stays safe Many twists and turns and false leads in this story, a total jo Erin is [...]

  • A long last half sister who may be the heir to a wealthy family and a murder by dessert is the basis for this story Great characters, but a little wordy for me, still a good story I haven t read the first books in the series, so this may be my stumbling block If you re already familiar with the bakery I think you will find this a happy addition.

  • I really enjoyed this chapter in the lives of Erin, Vicky, Terry and Willie Erin has tracked down her half sister Charley But then there is a murder and everything that entails I really liked the winding road Ms Workman sent us down on our way to discovering who the murderer is I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
