  • The illustrations in this book are perfect for the audience Pre schoolers and kindergartners will love this introduction to the solar system The deep night sky colors are eye catching The silly illustrations of planets doing bedtime things are fun Each page introduces a planet and at the end there is one basic fact about each celestial body mentioned.

  • For pre school and early elementary a bedtime story showing planets going through their bedtime routines Brief facts and map in back Cute.

  • Cute and clever illustrations that are easily skewed to a variety of ages Definitely could go toddler pre K story time and also could be a curriculum connection book for school age children.

  • Disclaimer I received this book as a part of a GoodReads giveaway Sleepy Solar System, by pediatrician John Hutton and illustrator Doug Cenko is a lovely getting ready for bed book for the set that is just a little beyond Goodnight, Moon If the child is interested in the night skies, this is a homerun. The book follows the planets and other heavenly bodies as they prepare for bed, Saturn brushing his rings, and tiny Pluto asking for an extra kiss It is a quiet and quieting book The illustrations [...]

  • I did not win this through a giveaway as most of the other reviewers seem to have Cute art and a great introduction for small kids to the solar system Just read the story or expound with expanded facts pages in the back.
