  • N Sond s work reads like prose poetry and Lindo s translation conjures up the aural imagery of a poet reading on stage, in that clich drawl one finds in coffee houses and amateur poetry nights at book stores, which is not necessarily an insult I know of a Harvard educated and published author who reads her work in that clich drawl at coffee houses, all I am saying is that N Sond s writing is not for me and neither was the translation Having said that, I still give this three stars.
