  • Good re a dThis book was entertaining, well written and ha d just enough mystery to tell a great story I will recommend to my sister s.

  • I really enjoyed this followup book to Meg Wolfe s first book just the light reading I needed during these dark and gloomy winter months I also am reading Meg s minimist blog and think she hits a lot of nails on the head I was disappointed in the ending of this book because everything works out dandy and fianacially wonderful for Charlotte and it did not for me and some of my friends all of us in that loop of retirement hit hard and permanently by the last recession But after all, it is a fictio [...]

  • I like the characters and setting, but I would categorize this as a beach read That is, not compelling page turning stuff I had hoped for a bit because I saw some promotions suggesting that if you like Louise Penny you d like Meg Wolfe There is no comparison The Gamache series is so much richer and deeper that it causes a conundrum do I read straight through to find out what happens or savor every page I have the 3rd book in this series there was a great deal on the Kindle combo and will read i [...]

  • No mysteryToo much in the romantic shenanigans department, too little actual mystery, and far too many hackneyed ideas Some of the writing is actually painful to read I finished it, like I finish many lack luster books , because I have to know what s going to happen Better material and ruthless editing needed here.

  • Old mysteriesThe characters are so interesting that I really couldn t put this book down Academics and street gangs, scientists and drug dealers make up a cast of intriguing people.

  • An excellent story tellerJust found Meg Wolfes books and am totally enchanted Great read and can t wait to start book three Don t miss this series about Charlotte Anthony.

  • I LOVE the characters and the background The group of friends that sounds wonderfully supportive and fun So ready for book 3 to come out.
