  • I really wanted it to be differentI loved this entire series Not long after star Extinction, I knew how it would end I kept hoping it wouldn t but deep down, I knew.John Vance has created such vibrant and realistic characters You really feel invested in the characters lives and what happens to them I wanted different endings for them all But that just wouldn t have worked.Read this series.

  • The Death TrilogyWas mushrooming for something to read when I found this series Once I started reading I got involved in the lives of the characters When I finished the first book, I couldn t wait to get the second in the series, and so on The only regret I have is that the story finally came to an end I would recommend this series to anyone, especially if you are interested in apocalyptic outcomes.

  • Ok everything I thought would happen did not total surprise.Wow what a journey one you think will end like most do with happiness but it s called death for a reason I could not put this trilogy down running my iPad battery to empty and charging it was the only reason to stop reading I was surprised and shocked so many times A story that kept me guess and saying WTF A must read that will keep you reading and will give a reading hangover.

  • Kind of disappointingI read the first 2 installments in a row and anxiously waited for the third The first two were very good The third was not as good It,s not that it didn t have a happy ending I wasn t expecting one I just didn t think the third part was as good It seems like it was shorter, and wrapped everything up very quickly More a men s to an end than the end of a story That being said, I would definitely read from this author.

  • The ending was disappointingIt seemed like midway through book 3 that the author kinda gave up I can t say much without spoiling the story, so I will say this what took 2 1 2 books to develop came crashing down in a hot mess in the final chapters But I do think it s still worth the read.

  • A bit of a let downAfter the excitement and quality of earlier books in this trilogy, the ending was both a letdown and depressing Still worth the read, the last book saddened me and depressed me with its lack of hope or belief in humanity.

  • My favorite out of the 3This was definitely my favorite book out of the series It was fast paced and definitely kept me on the edge of my seat Even though I wasn t a fan of how it ended, I understand why John Vance decided to end it that way.

  • Not as good as the first two The book was pretty good I enjoyed the first two books in the series , but still worth a read to see how the story concludes if you ve read the first two.

  • I liked the series but was the author trying to win the award for most depressing heartbreaking series Cassidy didn t deserve to live that way but I guess not every series can have a happy ending

  • Must readReal page turner series Finished the full series in 2 days Makes you think about our dependence on the government.

  • Suckiest ending ever I loved the first two books and was waiting for, if not a happy ending, one that left hope Didn t happen I won t read anything else from this author.

  • All of this time reading this series.r that Luckily it wasn t a series that i loved and it was just an ok bunch of books for me but i still feel supremely let down.
