  • I really liked this, mostly I love that there s a gay noir detective comic, and the beginning of the story starts out awesomely I m totally going to seek out and read of this However, I did find it annoying than funny that multiple beautiful women keep haplessly throwing themselves at the super gay but closeted main character, Dash That s as annoying as a trope as like, the gay hairdresser BFF for comedic relief that I assume comics like this are trying to get away from.

  • It felt a little predictable, possibly exacerbated by killing off the boyfriend so early in the arc, like he was just sacrificed.

  • As small as this first issue is, it packs a punch of character formation, build up and climax in plot, and of course, beautiful artwork.
