  • Excellent storyThis is a well researched story with lots of love and passion The romance was deep and loving I liked that the author used a cat s companionship to stand by the hero during th his darkest days in the dungeon The happy ever after was very realistic with the psychological scars discribed with perception.I would highly recommend this book to adults. It is a little too steamy for young teenagers.

  • This fourth and final book in The Montbryce Legacy series did not disappoint It is chock full of romance, passion, intrigue and political strife The historical elements of the time period play a large role in the plot, the same as in the previous books Robert de Montbryce was the central figure of this novel, but as in all the stories, the entire Montbryce clan is heavily featured They are a close knit bunch and always help each other out of tough situations I felt connected to the characters h [...]

  • This is the fourth and last story in the Montbryce Legacy Although the story centers around Robert Montbryce and his trials and tribulations, his brother Baudoin also figures highly. This is an epic story that manages to follow everyone in the Montbryce family since Rambaud de Montbryce There is also a good deal of the fight for one English king, Henry or his brother Curthose. This is a mighty novel to wrap up the wonderful legacy of the Montbryces You will chuckle, weep, and cheer.
