  • Attributing common ailments to poor posture never occurred to me I found this book fascinating and helpful in moving toward better posture It was very persuasive When I have the money, I will actually consider going to an Alexander Teacher.

  • finding this book really helpful so far i have pretty chronic shoulder and back pain and the talk of different ways of aligning my body is already being helpful i m sure it would be helpful if i was working with an alexander technique instructor but, alas, that is not in my financial plan Hopefully by the time I m done I will have perfect posture and be totally pain free Or at least feel somewhat better.

  • This book provides an introduction to ways of reducing the stress in your body during normal movements. Some sections of the book were interesting and I tried a few of the exercises and they did appear to work, but I think you need an instructor to show you how use the techniques correctly.
