  • What I liked about this book the concept this novel is based on was a YA novel without any love trianglese teenagers were shown to have a normal relationship with at least one parente mythology that came along with the land of Aquinase bad guys weren t demonic evil things, they were fae too and had a perfectly good reason to be bad they wanted Aquinas. What I did not like the book dragged a bit at the ende author told us what was happening rather than showing us.I think this is a good book for ki [...]

  • Meckenzie and her siblings Taggart and Kellan are blonder than you, prettier than you, richer than you, smarter than you, fitter than you and oh yeah, are magical fairy royalty The majority of this story is comprised of A the triplets being given various jewelry, each beautiful and magical than the next,B Meckenzie verbally sparring with the hot mysterious dude who just transfered to her school and is obsessed with getting to know her, andC various characters telling the triplets how awesome th [...]

  • Self publishing fail The writing and editing are so awful, I couldn t make it past the first chapter.Example Taggart was only a minute younger than Meckenzie, but she always felt like the older sister Always trying to clean up after him and keep him out of trouble Not that Taggart was prone to any trouble that was all Kellan How does that last sentence exist in a published book Or an even better example Knocking softly, Meckenzie opened the door to Kellan s room K, wanna run Kellan mumbles, Mmph [...]

  • Trefoil follows seventeen year old triplets Meckenzie, Taggart, and Kellan The story is told in third person, but it focuses on the indecisive one, Meckenzie After all, Taggart knows he is destined to become a doctor, and Kellan knows she is meant for Division I basketball Currently, they live in a manor near Central Park with their father and caretaker Their mother mysteriously disappeared ten years ago, and Meckenzie constantly dreams about her mother and a forest Right before their birthday, [...]

  • It was an okay story with no real end Or maybe that was a cliff hanger ending and there s to come I don t know Hey, at least there wasn t a sales pitch for the next part. This author NEEDS an editor This story needs an end The next book I read needs to not be a self pubbed drivelous mess.

  • I found this book while going through the free book list on iTunes This book didn t really do anything for me There were some problems with the editing Normally, I don t notice that kind of stuff but there was one part where I did notice it The other thing I wasn t sure about was the relationship between the triplets The book was about them, but, it felt like they were almost too close I don t know what is bugging me about their relationship, but something was I mean, we didn t really get to kno [...]

  • I wanted really badly to like this book, but I tried so hard, and it didn t happen The plot sounded sooo good, so I was actually a bit excited to read this But WOW does this book need editing There were spelling and grammar mistakes galore I usually don t care, but it was to the point where every paragraph I was picking something out Also, when the kids find out they re fairies, only one of them finds it hard to take in I m sorry, but if I found out the reason my mom left all those years ago was [...]

  • While not wildly original, it started off strong and had me hooked to see how it would turn out Words cannot describe how horrible the grammar and dialogue were, however So incredibly bad that I wanted to start editing the damn thing In addition, it s like the author lost steam towards the end or someone else started writing during the second half Half the dialogue was so stilted, and no one EVER talks like that Since this seems to be the start of a series, one suggestion to the author read it o [...]

  • I m very conflicted about this book I enjoyed the story which was about triplets approaching their 18th birthday In the months leading up to their birthday they realise that they re part Fae and that their lives will never be the same The reason I m conflicted is the book desperately needs a proof reader There were spelling mistakes throughout and there were words missing which made it difficult to read and follow the story.

  • I liked it but I think it needed a little something I feel that at times the main character was too complacent with her lot in life If a lot of life altering news came my way in a span of a week I would be a mess Not only that, but adding a potential suitor to the mix It is a little too much with not enough explanation Just my opinion of course.

  • Trefoil took me a long time to get into and by the time I started getting into it, it was pretty much over It seems like a lot of this book could be cut out and merged into the second book I do like the idea of this story and it does make me wonder what will happen next but the flow of the book and the repeated information was difficult to get past Suited for young YA.

  • This is a Kindle freebie I picked up on I enjoyed the story, it wasn t quite what I was expecting, but not a disappointment It was very clean, no swear words, no sex, which is nice to see in a young adult novel One major problem with the book, though, is that it is simply riddled with grammatical errors If you can read past those, it s a book worth checking out.

  • I pick this on up 3 times to read, but once I did I was caught up in the story, from chapter one The characters made you feels like you were part of the story line.It s filled with magic, fairies, and others characters with flawsNice midday read

  • I really enjoyed this novel I found it well written and entertaining Excellent Fae references for those of us who are hardcore Fantasy and Gaelic literature fans You definitely can t beat the price, but now of course I want to read the second novel, so hurry please author

  • This book was interesting enough I read it because my daughter had read it and really enjoyed it and wanted me to read it It kept my attention, most of the time However, the grammatical errors drove me crazy.

  • I m really not sure why I picked this up Someone must have said I d like it If you like modern day fairy tales, you ll probably enjoy this, but not me.

  • Besides the glaring editing problems, it was a nice story with a good plot and I liked the charactershate that it ended with a cliff hanger though

  • Sat down and read this book in about four hours Just sort of sucked me in, in a good way Excited to read the next book in the series Surprised about the ending

  • I am doing what my 12 year old calls quitting a book because I can t get beyond the editing issues The story is dragging and losing my interest.
