  • Another good book set in Wiscasset in 1806 It is interesting reading about life in Maine 200 years ago There were a lot sicknesses then.

  • A good read for Maine historical fiction Some reference to Wabanki people makes an extra delight for teachers, but the focus is Maine home life in the 19th century.
